NHS Peterborough will hand the responsibilities of the Primary Care Trust over to a GP Consortium within four years, but it is expected that the £13 million deficit will have to be repaid within three years. Any debt unpaid would be inherited by the GPs.
The free JLS tickets for councillors have been allocated, but five of the seven winners are expected to give their tickets to deserving causes. John Peach as the prime mover in bringing JLS to Peterborough will attend the concert. One other unknown recipient has yet to come forward.
A city centre hairdessers has been awarded a full alcohol licence.

Northborough is in the process of implementing a ban on cold calling.
The Deeping Raft Race is under threat of ending as police charge for attending the event and an evening licence has not been granted.
Following the contracting out of Peterborough’s Adult Audiology Service to InHealth a client was told her hearing aid batteries would no longer be sent to her unless she was housebound. This was an error on the part of InHealth blamed on a lack of training and they apologise.
Training starts in Werrington for the Great Eastern Run and the next sessions are tonight and then on 28th July 2010. The race will take place on Sunday 10th October 2010.
